ABOUT KABA-MA

Building community, advancing leadership, and supporting the next generation of Korean American legal professionals in MA.

OUR STORY

The Korean American Bar Association of Massachusetts was founded in 2025 by Korean American attorneys who recognized the need for a dedicated space where Korean and Korean American legal professionals could build community, support one another, and foster meaningful professional relationships. What began as a shared vision among a small group of attorneys quickly grew into an organization centered on connection, mentorship, and collective growth within the legal profession.

Today, KABA-MA serves as a network for Korean and Korean American attorneys, law students, and legal professionals throughout Massachusetts. The organization brings together members of the legal community across practice areas and generations to build lasting professional relationships, provide mentorship and guidance, create opportunities for career development, and celebrate important personal and professional milestones together. Through networking events, community programming, mentorship initiatives, and public service efforts, KABA-MA seeks to strengthen both the legal profession and the broader Korean American community.

Looking ahead, KABA-MA aspires to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the law and strengthen the visibility, representation, and impact of Korean Americans within the legal profession and beyond. By investing in mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement, KABA-MA hopes to build a lasting foundation for future generations of Korean American legal professionals in Massachusetts.
